Actually, neither. Fs of the Lab12 is far too low for a horn unless you want a 15Hz horn, and the Xmax of the Mag12 is far too small for its power rating. A nice compromise between all parameters can be found in the Beyma 12LX60. Cheers

Hi Bill, Here in Aus, the Beyma is comparable price-wise and much easier to get hold of - the Aus Beyma dealers have no problems ordering it in, whilst the Eminence distributors don't want to know about special orders. Whilst the Xmax of this driver is smaller than the Lab12, due to its higher sensitivity it is only about 1dB behind the LabSub in similar cabinet, and at lower power. Cheers
