If I were you, I'd write to JBL. They're pretty good about answering stuff like this, especially since you'll need a recone kit. My charts don't show the 2243HPL, but there may not have ever been a version of this driver sold individually. The PL suffix means it was used as a subassembly in something. That's the way 2227's are too.
