I am looking for suggestions on a portable digital audio recorder to replace a DAT recorder. I was hoping someone here would have recent experience they would share.

A buddy of mine bought a MicroTrack and loves it. Just saw it a couple weekends ago, listened to some music he had recorded on it and it sounded good. Don't know about features but it's small, handy and sounds good.
Now what is it that you mean by micro track? how many tracks is on the recorder? Is the only thing you record on it is tracks, not vocals but music alone?
