Hi,
I've bought second hand Peavey Heritage VTX a few months ago.
It suddenly start huge Low distorted noise when I turn a post gain nob on Normal Gain,
although if I turn the post gain on Normal Gain off and turn up the post gain on Lead Gain it works fine.

I have put in brand new valves but it's still the same.

I am new to this amp and downloaded manual but it isn't helpful.

Can anyone could help me to find out how to get rid of this problem?

Thanks
Tomo

I'm not to familiar with this amp either, but my fender princeton had a similar problem and I just cleaned out the pots and changed a couple of relays and it works fine. Give it a try. I would suggest getting a good tech.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
Strangely enough, I have left it on with all nobs off for over an hour, then it stopped making noise...

Anyway thank you very much for your advice!

Tomo
