I prefer to use marshall amps. They produce a rich clear tone. I like the sounds it produces when I plug in my B.C. Rich guitar.

I prefer crate amplifiers. I like the sound they produce. Decent effects too.

Tubes always!!! Peavey over Marshall. Unless it's an old JCM800 Marshall. My peavey 5150 used to blow away a friends Marshall JCM900 in every aspect.

Mesa's are nice amps as well if you've got the $$$.
