Dear friends,

i have bought a Fender twin 65 re-issue, in the specs I read that there are 10 Tubes, but when the amp. arrived it came with only four tubes. Is this normal?

Thanks

Renard

Hmmmm, it does have 10 tubes. It not only has 10 tubes, it won't operate with just four, even the "right" four. Interesting.......

I've never owned a tube amp, but I assume that there are companies still actively making compatible tubes for all brands of amps?

This reminds me of a company that makes flashbulbs for the movie industry to use in period films. But the cost of those is a few dollars a flash in some cases.
