if one were to build a fender super reverb amp, but convert it to 2X10 instead of 4X10, because of the changes you are making to the amp will it now sound entirely different than the original intended 4X10 model?
my other question is regarding amp classifications-what is the difference between (aa, ab, etc.) I can remember finding a site that explained it well, but now i cannot so if anyone could either explain it to me or toss me a link that'd be great. thanks. -michael

If I remember correctly, it`s "Aiken amplification" or something like that... IMO - find yourself S/H Fender amp, and play:-)
BTW - The best info you can find (that I know of) are the books by Kevin O`Connor, see "London Power" sites. Not cheap, but worth it.
