G'day Guys, firstly, if my question seems dumb, it's because I know NOTHING about electronics except that it hurts when you get electrocuted!! I am an aircraft maintenance technician and a jet engine specialist, but amplifier wizard - NO.

I have a Marshall B150 Valvetstate Combo. The speaker has been replaced with a 600w Precision Device but the "head" is standard.

Is there any way I can modify the innards of the amp to get more volume out of it? If there is such a mod, I would want the amp to remain safe and not want to "let the smoke out".

I am living and working in Saudi Arabia so it's not that easy to just go and buy a second head. I can buy one online but it would cost me as much again in shipping to get it to me here.

some of the mashall amps had to channels in the 60's and 70'a and so on . if you can bridge the to channels on the amp with a short patch cable this allowedyou to use both channels at once giving you the full power of the amp to work with mabe this would work for you

Well, I`m not familiar with this amp, but some general info that can be useful?!:-) We need more details - if I`m right, it`s the combo bass amp, SS output amp. We need impedance of the original speaker, and is this amp has additional speaker output? If the original speaker is 8 Ohms, and you can use this amp with additional 8-Ohms cabinet (4 Ohms total), then you can "gain" your output and dispersion of sound a little. But, if you can`t use another box in parallel with existing speaker (see manual!), then your only chance is to find "monster" bass-guitar speaker with larger sensitivity (W/m) then original:-).
Another option (without selling this amp and buying something more powerfull) is using line-out, additional "slave" power amp + box(es). But, if you really need more volume, start looking for another amp + big box(es). Hope that helps a little...:-)
