I always liked the idea of this technology. It uses hetrodyning of ultrasonic sound to produce an audible artifact, which is what is heard. Check it out.

I like this idea to wayne. I did a google search because that link does not work anymore. Direct sound where you want it and nowhere else is a cool feature for hypersonic sound.
