I'm looking for a power amp for a third system. CD only, powering Genesis 8300's. Want to go cheap so under $400. I'm thinking that something like a vintage M series Yamaha with built-in attenuators. How does something like this compare to the Adcom 555? If you have another suggestion, please let me know.

I really like the old Yamaha equipment from late seventies to early eighties.
