Did you connect to a phono stage input? Are you connecting MM or MC?
You must know be sure these things are done so check them to be sure.

Many thanks.
Yes I connect to a phono stage input in my amplifier ( the same input I used with the other turntable- now out of service). The plugs are RCA. My trouble is I cannot get the phonocartridge's alignement properly, as the headshell included in the Lenco brings a cartridge and needle G 800E and I'm trying to use a Shure. Do you know if it is necesary to change the headshell.
Please, what do you mean with MM or MC?

Many thanks from Spain

José.

MM is moving magnet and MC is moving coil. MM is more common and if you hook up a MC cartridge to a MM input it will sound funny, like you said. Some have a switch to set which one you want.
