A) that guy's a dealer.

B) he's charging typical Tokyo prices, or trying to.

C) Patricians are OK but you could do better....if you're gonna cough up that much for vintage speakers, go for Tannoys or better yet, Bozaks.

(Sorry, guess I know too much/have
heard too many "classic" speakers.)

Pretty pricey, aren't they? But I'm always impressed to see old sound gear that's been maintained well and in good shape.

Bozaks roll off the highs a little too much , no? Love their full sound, lots of body. Right on with the Tannoy's.
