Radios like these are usually worth more intrinsically than extrinsically. It might be special to you knowing that your grandparents listened to history unfold on that radio. You can probably find a schematic for it in the Rider collection if you need it. Chances are, if it hasn't been used in a while the capacitors are probably bad. The tubes may still work though. Power it on and give it a try. Check the power cord and make sure it isn't frayed though first.
