a freinds gonna sell me his alpine 250 watt system but its old. he says its worth 200. is that true? it sounds grrreat!

Old Alpine amps are pretty good, but I probably wouldn't pay that for one. That's about what it cost new. They are good amps, reliable, well-behaved and nice sounding but they aren't rare or anything.
