I was getting ready to put some new equipement up in my studio and I need some really good speakers. Nothing too expensive. The size of my room is very small so I don't need anything huge. Anybody have any ideas?
Are you trying to settle with computer speakers or a nice set of speakers outside of your computer?Check out Zzsounds. They have some real nice inexpensive speakers.

Horn speakers have a diaphragm or cone with a horn in front of them, shaped something like a megaphone. This increases efficiency and decreases diaphragm excursion, which in turn, reduces distortion.
It really depends on the type of speakers you are looking for and how much you are willing to spend. I advise you decide the basics first (for instance if you want a 2.1 or a 5.1).
