Do anyone have a preference when it comes to headphones and noise reduction? I need a set of headphones that are going to have as less noise as possible in them. They will be used for recording and when I'm mixing down music, I don't want any extras in the background.

There are noise cancelling headphones offered by Sennheiser, Sony, Koss and Bose, among others.

I recommend Bose headphones. Sennheiser, I'm kind of iffy about. They do provide noise-reduction, but I just don't like the fact how its ear cup doesnt cover your whole ear
