I realize it's not a strictly sound alone question, but I was wondering how long your handheld TVs lasted? I got about seven years use from mine, and it was turned off and on pretty frequently as I used it as a monitor on film sets from time to time.

That's funny, because when I used mine a guy I worked with said I should get cable for it, as a joke. I used it when I worked on film sets. If the camera was transmitting, you could tune to that frequency and watch the shot. It was helpful.

My hand held tv lasting 3 years so far. It was well worth the buy. I never let my children touch my handheld. Crystal
