My current setup is as follows
CD analog out to preamp in , preamp analog out to analog in Behringer DCX2496 , DCX analog out to poweramps ( subs , mid/bass , tweeters )line Arrays .
First there is the CD player's DAC convertion to analog , then the analog to digital in Behringer then again to analog for the output from behringer .
I have found a six chanel volume control :
http://www.selectronic.fr/article.asp?article_ref_entier=90.4310-7GBM
in this case I could completely cancel the preamp an have the following configuration :
http://www.dcx2496.fr/configuration.php
CD player digital out to behringer digital in .Avoiding too many DAC convertions !!!!
Did anybody try this configuration ?any advantages over a good preamp ?
Any comments are welcome
Thanks

I haven't used that particular device but have and do use many Selectronic products in various applications. If you need a product Selectronic provides, I would highly recommend it. All the things I've gotten from them were high quality and reasonably priced. Kits are well packaged and the instructions are clear. I am very impressed with the company and its products. I especially like their Profet amplifiers, which I use for subs.
