In my case it's really not ego; in fact, I really hate arrogant and condescending attitudes. I don't always have to be "right" but I do have a low tolerance for BS and discussions not based on fact. Arrays are inherently very complex and any real discussion is going to generate differences of opinion. Like any speaker discussion there will be white, gray, and black areas.
