I'm not sure when / if they will become available. My tests are pretty much what I had expected. With drivers like this you can easily predict how they will perform given the amount of surface area. I think the applications for this driver are very limited with the best application being a midrange in a 3-way line array.

The element is way too wide to use it as a tweeter with poor off-axis response in the top octave. Harmonic distortion measured low and the benefit of multiple push-pull magnets is evident there. I haven't bothered to check the sensitivity but I would expect it to be similar to the Neo8.

I believe I've heard about these but I'm not familiar with them. Are they a larger version of the Neo 8? Is the distortion lower than that of the Fountek ribbons, espeically at the lower frequencies, as Zaph found when comparing the Neo 3 PDR to the Fountek Neo CD2?

do you have any FR and distortion graphs? BG claims these can play cleanly down to 150hz. Im really interested to see how low these can actually go.
What are your thoughts on using these in an array mtm style with some fountek tweeters and a seperate array using the new lambda td12x to cover up to about 150-200hz

I've only tested them operating as a dipole so next will be a subenclosure. I also ran some dipole harmonic distortion tests.

Yes, larger version of the Neo8. A distortion comparison with the Fountek could be done but this is a midrange so it wouldn't be of much use because they don't cover the same frequency range. BG has a 3-way design where they place a Neo3 in front of the Neo10.
