Yes, a 5/3/T/3/5 arrangement. The T is the ribbon tweeter in the array. They would also work with a 4/4/T/4/4 wiring.

Thanks Jim!
Any thoughts on: half of 4/3/2/half of 2/T/half of 2/2/3/half of 4.

A little conserned at the Z = 3.3ohms, just wondering with a passive crossover the inductors should bring the Z up a bit, but would be stable enough for the amp.

Danse,

My taper (5/3/35) and a uniform taper (4/4/4/4) run close--or equal--to an 8 ohms impedance. I personally would not suggest that you do what you are thinking as it would make a line array sound like a MTM and eliminate most of the near field array effects that I like. Plus if you are using my passive Needles crossover for your speaker, then it would need a change. On tapering I usually suggest no more than a 2:1 ratio for my tastes.

Jim
