Finished my Linus III's and I'm very happy.

First impressions. Detail and imaging second to none but I underestimated the necessity of a sub. Now onto the next DIY project!

They're nice. I'd like to see them in my house, but its currently a shambles in weekend onlyt remodeling after 25 years of children, two cats and a dog.

I guess the WAF would prevent you from producing a nice Woofer Array to go with it. Aw, the hell with the xmas tree. Do what I did for my wife's 2000 tree ornaments. I built her a big flat wall hanging tree out of wood, with 2000 little nails on it, and now she hangs all here ornaments on it. The first one was green. The one I'm making now is out of oak and will be stained.

A set of 6 Dayton 8 inchers would not cost too much more and would give you 26hz at 92 db. You'd need to get a separate amp for it though.

Anyways, what are you thinking of in the way of a sub woofer to with these bad boys?

That's basically what I'm doing to my woofers. Curently they are in the original baox from 1982 before most people knew about the T/S stuff or could calculate it if they did.

Mine will go in a Sonotube but facing sideways, and ported. They're modeling Flat to about 30 and down about 3 db at 26hz. I'm using a Linear Tech 250 watt per channel amp for them.

Busy remodeling the room on my weekend days that they go into at the moment. Doing the drywall now. Ugh!! hate Drywall!!

My array contains 8 Fountek NeoCd 2.0 5" Ribbon Tweeters per side. I couldn't speak more highly of these ribbon tweeters. Very clear and precise. I'm somewhat handicapped in giving a thorough review because my sole source for the moment is a hotrodded Marantz CD67. This CD player really doesn't do justice to these arrays. But even with this limitation (the CD67) these arrays have set new standards for me in musical detail and imaging.
