From time to time I receive questions about using the Behringer DSP units with arrays. While I do think DSP is the best way to go (I use the DEQX in my own system) I don't care for Behringer equipment.

I've worked with pro audio equipment for many years in live sound and studio recording. My experience with Behringer hasn't been that positive and I've talked to other people in the field who also have encountered problems. The build quality / reliability of their equipment isn't that great, certainly less than one would expect from an average piece of home audio equipment. People buy Behringer because of low cost and features per dollar. Nobody buys their products because they're more reliable.
