I had a pair of ADS L 2030 Monsters back in late 70's, early 80's. Designed as Telarc monitors for Jack Renner. They used 6 midrange domes in a "weighted line", and a point source tweeter w/ samarium cobalt magnet. They simply fed more power to one or more of the domes.

The best L'Acosutics reference is their October 2003 AES paper which summarizes their WST work over the last 14 years. It is very readable and should give you a good feel for work. Go to the link below and click on the title to download. Jim
