Madisound is running a sale on the Fountek JP-2 ribbons. If you're thinking about building an array now's the time to start

Hi Rick,

Sorry to throw an off-topic question your way but I'll do it anyway.

Have you and Jim ever tried building something around the Eminence LA6MB drivers yet? I just designed a crossover for a speaker for Bob Soden, who had picked up those and some other components. They sound very nice, handle a lot of power and have pretty good bass extension. Response sounds nice and flat, without irritating breakup modes up high so you can definitely cross around 3kHz nicely.

Now if we could talk Eminence into putting shorting rings into some of their smaller devices like that...

Wayne

I've not tried those drivers but I've use some of the Eminence woofers in past designs.
