For the most part Jim focused the talk as an introduction. The format was taken mainly from his white paper. The nearfield/ farfield effects were reviewed with his rule of thumb for determining the transition. I think I could have spent a few hours just asking questions but time was short. Jim did manage to get a quick and quiet jab in at Bose- they are an easy target.

Then we listened. He had brought the needles with them. They were the only other line array pair I have heard other than my focused array. I like the line array sound. Any one else have a pair in the Chicago area? The 3" tang ban drivers have a very fast mid base response. I am leaning toward another focused array with the 4" tang ban drivers as my next project.
