Greetings all,
I have a box full of good small speakers and plan to make a nice array. My mate says it will have 3db more for each speaker added but I think it's 3db each time the number of speakers doubles. Which is it? What is better in a room, a line of speakers or a square bessel array? My mate says the line is better outside and the bessel is better inside the room. It that true? Cheers,
Gregg

You won't get 3db everytime you add a speaker actually you would get 6db everytime you double the number of speakers. +3db for the added speaker(s) and +3db from double the power handling. But your right you get +3db everytime you double the speakers that is if you keep the power the same. Won't comment on line array or bessel array as I havn't heard either one.
