hi erik, if you are to use the zigma hornet then you need a sub but for my case i don't , my dca 4" are in a non fold horn (consider big) , the dca 4" sound better than the jordan JX 92 but you can't play them that loud, very natural sounding driver with 91dB, i play them with SE 2a3, SE double darling, 832 PP 6 watts and charlize T amp 10 watts zeno

you plan to use 2 pair of dca 4" ? more than enough for me , i think they are loud enough for u as well, 35 watts is too much for me , as the speaker is 91 dB, i am sure you will love them. it is very funny that many people are not interested in these drivers, all i can say is they are wrong , dave really has made it right for this wonderful small driver, we should thanks to him, and wish him well in his health zeno
