How do you kill midrange spikes on transmission lines? Is it done with stuffing? Taper? I am considering a fullrange speaker and wondering what route to take. I know quarter-wave pipes have spikes at 1/4wl, 3/4wl, 5/4wl, 7/4wl, etc. so I wonder what you do to prevent midrange smear. All comments welcome.
