This takes me back to my first project when I got involved with
the hobby.
I had a pair of mini speakers (2 way) from a desktop Nakamichi
receiver. My first fuill range speaker purchase was of the
Fostex FE127e. The advice I got was to take the backs of
the nakamichi cabinets and install the Fostex. Funny thing was
the Fostex fit like a glove and I ran them that way as computer
speaks for some time. I now have the GM MLTL built for the
Fostex. They are still in use and are still my best (and
my most expensive) speaker pair.
"The Brick" or the Fostex 'spiral horn' design looks like
the best for compactness and good sound. Way better efficiency
too on the Fostex line.
What I am wondering is: How would one of those Hi-Vi or
Fostex 3 inchers improve over the Tangband?
