I have a couple of Beta 8 pairs and a pair of Flat 10 drivers. They sound very very good, the Flat series is not strong enough for horns, but great in reflex. The Beta´s on the other hand, really lives in a horn. I plan on making a multi channel setup using Beta 8 drivers.

Thank you. Does anyone have Thiel Small params for the betas? I would like (in case this camp homeboy could ever aspire) to know what sort of a load to plan for these paragons. Regards, Poinz

I think I´ll stick to the original Coral horn, or design something similar. I´ve played around with a Lowther Acousta and a Lowther Fidelio cabinet with these drivers, and they don´t sound the same, but still very close and has the same qualities. I think they might be from different production lines. The newest pair had a bit more bass, while the oldest was more musical and mellow. But still, they are the best speakers I have ever owned, and the build quality is really something else compared to Lowthers. Regards Kim
