Has somebody tried this combination (buschhorn + visaton frs 8)? I want to try some cheap project just for fun and this looks very good for the price. I foud these types of buschhorn: http://hometown.aol.de/hphinder/homepage/ http://www.speaker-online.de/bauen/bhorn.htm Which one is better for this driver? Would this works with some other drivers? Maybye later I replace the visaton driver with some fostex or supravox. Thanks Mato
HI MAto, Givne the low range is 100HZ, IMHO it may not make sense to build a major cabinet for this. Try a small sealed box cabinet, and biamp it below 100 HZ. That will probbaly give you decent results. Just my 2 cents. -akhilesh
You are maybe right, but buschhorn was designed for this driver and people use it with success. The next reason for building this horn is that it is suitable for some other drivers, for example Vifa 10BGS which looks very good, so later I can replace the visaton driver with better one.
