What year are your Valencia's. I love the pair I have. They are very sensitive to amplifier power though; some amps sound terrible on them and some sound glorious.

HI ANgel,
Good to hear from you again!

I rebuilt the boxes, and installed them in the living room. YOU should come hear them. Wife likes their look now. I think bringing in the original boxes initially was a good idea in terms of setting the bar.
THey sound very good to me. But you should listen.

I will be happy to come by your place with a Single endfed amp. I have a single ended 2a3that sounds pretty good.
I would love to check out the valencias.
Let's coordinate by email. MAybe Wayne & BIll Wassilak & others would like to come too?
-akhilesh

I think it's about time for another meeting. We could probably do one before GPAF. Last time was right in the middle of the holidays, so it was hard to make time.

What kind of crossover do they have in the back? Also do they have grilles and if so what do they look like?

Those are the older models; probably with tangering phase plugs. Speakerman knows all of the iterations so he can pinpoint the exact year but that is a good thing. I can't significantly better the sound of mine with anything; some do some things better or worse but I love 'em.
How long have you owned them?
Actually now I remmember you had a photo of them here; is that right?
