GarMan,

Are those the JBL 2380 Flat Bi-radial horns on top of the cabinet?

Look sweet!

Ron

But I've since replaced them with my own DIY 2397.
Imaging's now less sensitive to sitting position. I also loss the "bite" that I used to get with the 2380A's.

I have read quite a bit about them on the audioheritage forum (JBL).

I have heard good things about them.

and the group of them sold me on the idea to replace the 2380A with the Smiths. Next spring, I'd like to take a crack at the 1" exit version that's been tossed around there. Could be a good match with 2226's.

Yes, the Widget is cool dude with lots of ideas, I liked the wood horns he made up also.

I would like to try the Smith horns, but with my heavy investment ($$$) in Edgarhorns I would be hard pressed to change up right now.

But would like to hear them though!

If you DIY, investment is minimal.
$60 on material (baltic birch ply)
$100 to $150 for a pair of throat adaptors

But that's assuming you already have the drivers.
