I don't see why not. I think it would be a question of scale. The crossover frequency should determent the size. if you give it a try, I'd be very interested in you results! Hi-freqency roll-off might also be an issue.

There are some very knowledgable people over at audiheritage. Someone might know how to calculate it. Wayne (Pi) might also know.
