Hello, I have the JBL 2425H

compression drivers, and like many have the "bug screens" in place. Unlike my altec drivers, who just put the piece of screen behind a cardboard spacer/gasket, they are actually pressed into the output "hole". Short of cutting them out with an exacto blade, how are these little devils removed?

thanks,
Russellc

Cutting them is usually the only way - not ideal.

FYI, I did a study of these things and in general you don't want them. They really do have a substantial effect on the output. I delete them in my designs.

But don't forget that even the smallest particle down one of these and into the gap and it is ruined. So remove the screen at your own peril.
