And yes I have heard them. I tried one in some old EV Century 100 studio monitors I have. The EV’s are not a particularly good sound speaker but compared to the original 8 they were more noticeably more articulate and detailed, quite smooth and more efficient. They had a little bass than the originals but that’s not really their intended application.

18sound make excellent speakers and are one of EAW significant OEM suppliers.
