I'm really enjoying JBL 2012's and Eminence neodymium (and ferrite) Delta 10's. But there are plenty of others too, and I'm sure people will sound off with other good suggestions.

It depends what you want - How large can the horn be in mouth area and length at maximum? What lower and upper cutoff points do you want? What sensitivity do you require? And what maximum output? How much can you spend per driver?

I don't know what BRW wants, but MY wish list is: mouth area ~1161 in^2 (43" x 27"ID, smaller would be nice), throat length 38 inches (shorter would be nice), -3dB points 100 Hz & 600 Hz (wider bandwidth would be nice), 106 dB/w, 130+ dB sustained output. I like EV's EVM10M and DL10X but would consider other comparable woofers from JBL, B&C, Beyma, 18Sound, PHL, Eminence, etc.
