I purchased a pair of beautiful charcoal Avantgarde DUO's, but I can't seem to get them dialed in. They sound harsh, sort of screechy with voices especially female singers. Voices seem shrill to me, not pure like I expected. I've connected to different source and the DUO's stay harsh. Do any other AG owners have a solution for me?

What are you using for source material? Maybe that's the problem?

Audiophalic,
I spoke with someone the other day that said pretty much exactly what you have posted. He auditioned them in his home. He has very good source components. I was surprised at his comments. Do keep us posted.
