Have you got a particular aluminum cone driver in mind?

You buy a guitar driver for it's tone, not it's accuracy. I've never seen an aluminum producer before (as opposed to reproducer as Altec used to say.)

I seem to find that Bugera is a Behringer house-brand. I'm not familiar with it, but I'm familiar with the "economy minded" Behringer philosophy and that alone makes me wonder.

I would suggest you consider this - Eminence makes more drivers found in more OEM cabinets than anyone else, hands-down. Take a look at their range - maybe that will help.

Some manufacturers are making bass guitar speakers using 10" aluminum cone drivers. Some of the most popular are the Hartke 2x10 and 4x10 cabs.
