Does anyone out there know how to rectify a mouldy speaker cone? The woofers seem to be paper cone, but has spots of white mould on it, which looks disgusting and detracts from a handsome looking bookshelf speaker. Otherwise, they still work. If anyone has suggestions on how I can clean the mould off without damaging the cones, it would be much appreciated.

Lots of things will discolor cones besides mold. Examples are chemicals and exposure to sunlight. But if it's really mold, you might try a fine mist of houshold mold remover. You might apply a sample on some other inexpensive speaker cones to make sure it won't bleach the paper.
