Thanks Wayne......I thought that my idea was ok---a speaker that gets less power just won't make the volume but at 17wpc it would be Ok---have to watch ut for those speakers that have a rep of "light up" when you do power up on them---some just take a good deal of power to really sing----- thanks again Jim
