Grand Master
I bought another Denon 1500 MK II real cheap because it had issues. When it arrived it was pretty sad. It was dirty and the drawer stuck open and it skipped.

So I looked around the shop and found a 1/16: O-ring that was the right length and that cured the drawer problem. Next I cleaned the rails on the drawer and tracking mechanisms and applied a little De-Oxit. Lastly I cleaned the lens and plugged it back in.

It works just fine now. It may not live forever but It sure sounds sweet to me. It's funny how each time I fiddle with something electro-mechanical I learn a bit more about it. The mechanical I can usually figure out but the electronic end still leaves me wondering

Maybe someday I'll have a clue.
