To Mike Gibson-I have been running a DP-37F for years, and love it-these units are underrated gems for sure. It is so quiet and trouble-free. I am using a Shure V15 Type 5xMr; makes a great combo as I'm sure your M97 does.

Sorry, I didn't see your post until now. I think the cartridge you have is better. I have a V-15-xmr on a Mitsubishi LT-30 TT and I love the sound of it.

The 37 still is dead quiet and sounds pretty good. The M-97 xe isn't bad. Someday I need to get out and try something besides a Shure. It's just that I've lived in this comfort zone so long I have no idea about other carts.
