Hello fellows, here's a longshot:

I recently purchased an old Sparton 78 rpm turntable. The seller claims it is from the 1940's, though websites I've seen about the "sparton" company say they starting making turntables in the 50's. I am attempting to devise a powersource for it, as it was sold without the amp/speakers that has the power cord. Does anyone know what the voltage and amps are for this turntable, or where I could find this information?

Thanks!

Can't help with the table, but it warms my heart to see someine else not ditching 78 equipment. I love 78s - sat around this past Christmas with Bing spinning doing his best White Christams. My kids think I'm a little off, but what's new......C
