I want to get into turntables mostly for messing around, but maybe to play some parties somewhere down the road. I like the authenticity of using vinyls, but I know that I will never keep up a collection (due to cost), so I think that I want to get digital tables. Does anybody have any recommendations? I have played the digital technics, which I like, but I don't like having to burn cd's and/or use the SD card slot. I have also heard that Serrato is the best way to go, but I don't really understand what can be done with that. Ideally, I would get a cheap set-up that I could run directly from the music library on my comp. I have also looked into the Nu-mark ones, but I don't know anyone who has used them. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
