Please help me as I have been unable to replace the cartridge.

Cannot find a business in Albuquerque, NM that sells the cartridges. Purchased in 1969 in Germany.

Hi,
I have a Elac Miracord 650 with a Elac STS 344 cartridge. It is a tall cart but uses standard 1/2" mounting. The head shell allows for cartridge alignment, if the arm allows for VTA setting then you can use any cartridge you desire. I can recommend the Shure M97xE as it has a very nuetral sound and can be found at http://www.amazon.com/Shure-M97xE-High-Performance-Magnetic-Cartridge/dp/B00006I5SB Enjoy!
