i was just wondering if someone could help me. i've been looking for a turntable/s for a while to learn how to scratch basically. i've got a set of citronic's with built in mixer for dj-ing, as well as my laptop for mp3's. but now i would like to learn how to scratch the trial-and-error way, can anyone suggest a relatively cheap entry level model to hone me skills on? the old citronics bounce all over the place and hence won't let me move the vinyl. thanks guys!

This forum is really for turntables used for hifi, not DJ use. That said, I think the Technics SL-1200 with a heavy durable cartridge and needle is probably pretty good for what you want to do.
can i ask you one last favour please wayne. will these numark TT1610 (http://www.thomann.de/thoiw2_numark_tt1610_plattenspieler_prodinfo.html?partner_id=79570#fpix) be just as good for what i want to do?
