Hi, My Marantz 6100 turntable is playing a little slow. (almost a half step flat in musical terms). I recently replaced the belt when the old one broke but i made sure to research and get the right size and it seems to fit. There is no motor speed control that i can find, inside or out, and the a/c cord basically connects directly to the motor. I have tried oiling the spindle, greasing it, and cleaning it completely with alcohol and still no change. Is there any way to slightly speed up the drive motor? What can i do? Sure appreciate any help. Thanks

Sounds like your motor is probably bad. Might want to run this one in to the shop.
