hello tech heads .... i have 2 technics1200mk2s and an vestax pmc 05sl pro scratch mixer.
the problem being when i plug my headphones in a 50hz hum starts with or without the turnys on.
then when i turn them on and start cutting/scratching(moving record back an forth) the hum cuts in and out with it.
i am a sound tech and fairly swiched on but am stumped at this problem.
ive checked needles ,wires ,xfader, earth plugs ,etc etc too no avail.
im thinking its my mixer but just wanted some thoughts?........
who knows ???? also my mixer has onboard sampler and delay effect, and when i tap the tempo in the delay the hum pulses in time with it????????

Sorry, but I don't think many around here "scratch." This forum is mostly about audiophile turntables and using them for playback of recordings in hifi systems.
